About Emily Wein
Emily Wein (they/them) is a graduate from Carnegie Mellon with a double major in Film and Media Studies as well as Architecture. They also have a minor in Creative Writing.
Emily is a filmmaker, writer, designer, and content creator with accolades in writing, video directing, sound design and choreography.
They have held various roles on film, television, and commercial sets as an Associate Producer and a Production Assistant. Additionally, they have served as a PR chair for Infra Dance company as well as the Entertainment Co-Chair for the annual Lunar Gala fashion show (one of the largest fashion shows in Pittsburgh). They have acted as a choreographer and dancer for Infra Dance Company and Dancer’s Symposium and are currently serving as a resident choreographer for NACRE Dance Group.
Across all of Emily’s bodies of work, there is an emphasis on the storytelling. From the story of a structure to the story told through dance, each piece embraces and highlights a unique narrative.
In their free time, Emily writes screenplays, poetry and practices photography.
